What Coliven is
Coliven is a platform for people who gather in real life, and for the hosts who make those gatherings happen.
For hosts, it is one place to run a community: a public page worth sharing, events, ticketing, payments and recurring membership income. For everyone else, it is a directory of intentional communities, retreat centers, event brands and local groups, with the events they have coming up.
It is built for intentional communities, ecovillages, retreat centers, recurring event series, pop-up cities and neighborhood groups.
Our mission
People are hungry for belonging. In a time of loneliness, uncertainty and endless scrolling, more and more of us are finding our people in the places where we gather: a retreat in the hills, a week in the forest with old and new friends, a meditation hall, a long table at the end of the day. These are the places where strangers become friends, where people rest, heal and remember what matters, and where new ways of living take root. Behind every one of them is a host who gives everything to make it happen, often at the cost of their own time, savings and energy. Coliven exists so they don’t have to. We’re building the backbone that lets these places thrive, and a curated home where people can find transformative, soulful and ecological gatherings worth showing up for. When hosting becomes a livelihood, more of these places can exist. Because every place of belonging deserves to last.

The team
- Marin PetrovProduct, Design and Development
Marin is a serial entrepreneur and founder of several successful companies.
Before starting Coliven, he spent more than 20 years in the animation industry, contributing to films including Ice Age, Rio, Epic, Peanuts, and Ferdinand. His background in storytelling, design, and product development continues to shape the way he builds software today.
Marin lives with his family in a small community he helped create from scratch: three families sharing a piece of land with three homes. That experience became the inspiration for Coliven. He believes there is nothing more valuable for human well-being than living in close connection with friends and community, and that the people who create and host these spaces should be able to build sustainable livelihoods around them.
- Kate BeecroftGTM & Community
Kate leads go-to-market and community at Coliven, getting it in front of the hosts who need it and building the network of communities and partners around it.
She has spent over a decade inside Enspiral, one of the longest-running experiments in collaborative organising. Through her consultancy, Network Effect, she helps impact driven communities, DAOs and decentralised organisations see where value flows through their structures. She also coaches leaders in complex roles, including the CEO of Rewiring Aotearoa and other leaders working in complex systems, and runs Ship It!, an 8-week accountability accelerator for founders tired of building alone.
Outside work, Kate freedives, reads a lot and cooks a lot.
- Anna DimitrovaFinance and Operations
Anna supports Coliven.com behind the scenes, shaping its legal and operational structure. A Finance graduate and ACCA-qualified, she began her career at KPMG and PwC, and for the past 15 years she has helped startups and growing companies turn ideas into reality and build foundations for growth. To her, innovation thrives best when it is supported by the right structure.
Anna genuinely believes in the power of community: that the invisible bonds between people, built on shared moments and belonging, are the key to a brighter future. People need their people to shine, and Coliven can be the digital tool that brings them together in real life.
Anna spends every free minute outdoors, kitesurfing, mountain biking, skiing and exploring, and work often happens right there on the spot. Some days the laptop waits, and other days a work call comes just as the perfect moment slips away. But balance isn’t about getting it right every time. It’s about sharing the fun and the work adventure with the people who make it worth it.
